# Add a link to text within a paragraph

Now you’ll know I am a real beginner with PineGrow. How do I hyperlink selected text within a paragraph without linking all the text in the paragraph?

I see the “Add Link” menu item in the right-click dropdown but using it will link the entire paragraph. Currently, I add the tags manually in the code.

Select your text block by double-clicking. This will cause a second type of floating menu to appear above the text block (see image below)

Highlight your text and choose “LINK” from the menu.

Have you watched all the tutorial videos, and read through the documentation?

I don’t think their videos are categorized according to experience level, but they’re all here…
