# Add script to child

Hello, I am using/applying a master page to a new page. However, this page requires an additional script that I only want to load on this page. I was surprised to find that if I update the project, what I have done is deleted. I have other components and they work perfectly.

Do I have to add an empty “script” component in order to add this independent script?  
Or is there a way to block this script, which is not inside any element, like all the scripts on the master page?
