# Create different page templates that don't use header or footer?

Wanted to know how to create a page that has a user can select a different template under page attributes so that the exported code doesn’t have get\_header(),get\_footer() automatically? Or maybe that it uses different headers and footers ? Which then, can you create alternate headers and footers templates?

Right now it looks like you can only create ONE master page which shares the same header/footer through out the whole project which to me seems limiting.

I tried to leave just the field “choose master page” blank but the exported code still calls the parts.

You can create more than one WP Master Page and then you can have more than one header/footer.  
To proceed, just use the Define Master Page action.
