# CSS filter property – missing in the visual editor

You’re welcome @gecko, sometimes input works and other times (seems like most for me) it does not. Just a few years ago the entire [Visual CSS Editor was yet to be released](https://forum.pinegrow.com/t/visual-edit-controls-for-margin-and-padding/882). So you missed it before that.

You may like the notion of this other [Pinegrow design centric app](https://forum.pinegrow.com/t/pinegrow-offspring-pine-seedling-designer-app-coming/2306) that may one day come to fruition. Which is still supposedly being worked on, the following update is from 8 months ago.
