# In app auto update notification not working

Hi Guys
Yesterday I received an email from PG announcing the availability of the latest version however when I opened PG some time later there was no notification of this as there has been in the past on the top right corner of the UI.
Has something changed with respect to this or is it a new bug?

I was just wondering that too.
AND the news updates there don’t seem to reflect all the latest tutorials etc either

Thanks for your feedback but Pinegrow updates are rarely announced in the application on the day they are released. This “trick” gives us the opportunity, during a few days and sometimes a little more, to solve possible last minute problems without impacting the largest number of customers. (by imposing a new download, a new installation etc …).

It should be made do-able, as it is in this forum along with full application software from many other sources.
