# Local Fonts Not Working in WordPress

Hi,

I am building a WP theme that uses some local fonts. I have added the local fonts to the project via the font manager, and they appear as expected when viewing pages locally or exporting statically to Netlify.

However, after converting to a WP theme the fonts do not appear in WordPress (though the assets do show in the theme files). I am wondering if I am missing a step to make it work in the WP context.
