# Lock Area doesn't unlock

Hi guys
I hope someone can help me. I locked an editable area (the navbar) and now it refuses to unlock it!
What is going on? I need to edit the nav and my deadline is tomorrow. The whole masterpage setup took forever, and I just don’t have the time to redo it.

I went into the coding via Dreamweaver and removed the lock coding. This is obviously a serious issue which should be dealt with in the next update!

Hi, thanks for this. It’s a bug and I’ll fix it right away.
A workaround in PG is to go to Actions -\> Edit code of the editable area element and remove data-pgc-lock attribute.
