# My first WP theme! WIP

Hi, I just wanted to share that I’m following this [Youtube series](https://youtu.be/E6cP-akn-u0?list=PLZqLRj9Gg0Gsl_5LFZiBWD8zd5IYV8gJF) to create my first WP theme!  
It’s a work in progress, so don’t mind the raw look of it 🙂

Sharing progress. It may seem very simple, but it is my first try.

Logo name, menu, widget sidebar and posts are dynamic.

Sidebar will be displayed as a list, even its selected “no”  
I also started minor CSS styling - large images, removed borders added paddings etc

Some tasks were very difficult - find the assigned rule - I changed values but nothing would happen. I couldn’t say if I selected the wrong element, or what. After 2 hours, I started getting right, but I don’t know what I did.

Fonts are impossible - it should be a menu. I only remember Roboto and Lato, but they look different, and choosing the font weight won’t change anything while others font options will work.

I also changed the footer styling

E ai fera, ja terminou seu tema? eu estou começando aqui, seria bom se tivesse material mais fácil de entender…
