# Pinegrow use only utf-8 charset for any files?

I’m italian and developing my web pages are coded with iso-8859-15 charset.  
My html headers starts with `"<meta charset="iso-8859-15>"` and files are saved with same encoding.

Unfortunately using Pinegrow when save file the encoding are changed to utf-8!  
There are a solution? It’s necessary implement a new Pinegrow feature?

Pinegrow will only work with UTF-8 encoded content and we have no current plans to support other type of character encoding.

In 2018, UTF-8 is an approved standard, which works everywhere.
