# Pull out dialogs/panels from IDE to become their own windows (answered)

You can already do that.

With Pinegrow 9, make sure you are in Flexible mode

_Window_ → _UI Mode_ → _Flexible_

Then use the floating panel icon

Arrange them how you want. And you can save that layout for quick recall at anytime. (_Window_ → _Workspace_)

Smart mode was a [new feature](https://pinegrow.com/release_notes/pinegrow-web-editor-9/#smart-mode-workspace) in 9.
