@randyrie I notice the character encoding issues in your screenshot, which is quite unusual for a simple file copy operation on macOS. This level of character corruption suggests there might be more going on than just a standard copy/paste operation.
To help you better, could you share:
1. The exact steps you took when copying the file
2. Whether the file was originally created in Pinegrow or another application
3. If you’re copying between different types of file systems or drives
This seems more complex than a standard Finder operation, and I’d like to understand the full context to provide the most appropriate solution.

To fix my issue, I simply dragged and dropped the files inside each folder to the newly created folders. This morning, I tried copy and paste for older folders which worked fine. Hmmm?

No matter what the result of your copy operation from the operating system is, when you open them for editing, Pinegrow just reads the files and doesn’t alter their encoding or anything else. I’m not sure where your issue came from, but I’m pretty confident that Pinegrow isn’t the cause of this problem.

Apple Tech recommended I re-install the OS which I did, the copy and paste worked fine after. Seems something in the OS system files got corrupted?
