# Registered theme image size via \`add\_image\_size\` doesn't show up in image editor

Hi there,

I was wondering why a custom image size, that I added via

`add_image_size('profile-card', 400, 300, true);`

wouldn’t show up in the image size selection within the block attributes…? Am I missing something?

I ended up setting the image size within the **Theme / plugin settings** and that works but I would expect for the Pinegrow plugin to pick up on the sizes already defined.

Can somebody shed some light on this? Maybe it isn’t meant to work that way but seeing the WP defaults I was thinking that it _would_ work that way 😊
