# Remove Pinegrow tags ( psg )

Is there a way to remove from the html code when exporting the tags data-pgc-edit , data-pgc, data-pgc-no-update etc…, generated by Pinegrow. I don’t need them and they mess up my code. Thanks

Hi @Ricardo-Cysnet,  
If you are completely done with any component editing, you can select Components → Remove component information… Be careful though. This isn’t recoverable, so either duplicate the project or make sure you are really done.

When you use Pinegrow advanced features (components, master pages etc …), these tags (which represent a totally ridiculous weight in your documents) have an important role and deleting them means deleting all the specific settings associated with the advanced features.
