# Revisions q when recompile

I wish there was a revisions q for example when you might adjusts file outside of pinegrow . When you recompile and can’t Remember what you did taht warrants the change. Would be super helpful.

I was thinking something like the Wordpress side by side revisions. I am going to do stuff in VSCode. I cant seem to use pinegrow by itself. I see it as a tool not the tool. But I am getting used to it. But I can also cut and paste snippets pretty fast in vscode especially for acf. Would just love the ability for it to be more seemless.
