# Using the spacebar in a span element causes the focus to jump to the element tree

Edit – I can’t reproduce this behavior anymore, even on the same project, so I’ll chalk this up to something odd with my browser. I’ll leave this post on the forums, though, just in case anyone else runs into it and has better luck making it reproducible.

When typing text into a span element, the spacebar causes the focus to jump from where I’m typing to the element tree. See the screencast below for a demo.
