I was wondering if there’s any simple "here’s how to start translating your PSD (or any image for that matter) into an HTML page, using Pinegrow?

You can utilize the “Image overlay” feature in the visual helpers menu. Then build on top of that with elements dragged from the library, to add elements to the page and then style everything as you desire. Using that feature as a method to convert your static image into a responsive page.
Hopefully that image feature will be useful for your build process.
