Lightbox display on a image gallery inside block

I am working on small site and I need a light-box display on a small gallery. I would prefer it to be part of a block. I found this one: Lightbox

… and it works as desired. Problem is with WP implementation. Block looks like this:

Lightbox targets images via #href … and here is the problem. I can change photos from WP media gallery, but cant target them for lightbox display.

Any idea how to get the desired effect. I would rather not use plugins.

Managed to do make it work. Another problem is that block inside block editor is not displayed correctly. Maybe I should open another topic.
