Creating multiple page templates

Hi all,
I’m new to Pinegrow WP, but really like it!
I am stumped by this question though: how do I create separate templates for different pages? It seems to be related to Define Page template (and Define Post Template) but I don’t know how to add the code.
Can anyone point me to an explanation - or if its actually quite simple, just detail how its done?
