Default search in bootstrap 4 navbar

Just curious about which search engines are most PineGrow’ers using to activate the default search that appears in the bootstrap 4 navbar. Seems strange to me that the input box and button are installed with the navbar but there is nothing offered to activate the search, index the site or to create a results page.

I usually delete the box and button and use a Google search page for my onsite searches in its stead. Am I missing a built-in search capability in PG or is the search box & button added simply as a design place-holder?

Anyone have a search tool solution that would work with the bootstrap model?

I have yet to build a website that needs an internal search feature, although I am just getting ready to start one that probably will, so I will definitely be investigating this issue more in the near future. For the time being though, you might want to take a look at this page.
