Hi all,
does anyone know how long it takes to get GPT-4 to be available after payment? I have access to GPT-4 via the Plus subscription, but I still get the ‘GPT-4 model does not exist’ error message…
Would love to hear if anyone else had problems like this or that Im simply not patient enough

If I’m not mistaken, the GPT-4 API is still invite only and you need to fill out a form to request access. The subscription gets you access to chat gpt 4, but not the api.

Yeah it’s a little confusing. ChatGPT Plus and ChatGPT API are separate services.
I’ve had this discussion on another forum too, I think there are a lot of people confused by it.
The API uses a pay as you go model.

and the nice video by @matjaz of button colour coding… whats the chances of,
running it locally?
with local calls?
oh! and getting it to communicate with PG as in the video of course 
no other reason to explore it.
worth the overhead/experimentation?
id certainly play with it then, and it does seem to be evolving terribly quickly, but current remote
server deployment, no appeal whatsoever.
