Mr. pinecone problems

I’m not sure what happened, but Mr. Pinecone is not doing a good job of automatically creating blocks and block attributes. I updated the software, and it’s causing problems by adding extra navigation in my footer, among other issues. It seems to be glitching a bit. Is there a place where I can download the last version? I’ve never had such problems before. I actually design in Webflow, and the update to PG has interfered with that, causing issues with my JavaScript. It’s very frustrating.

I’ve also noticed the new update (8.4) has been glitchy and I’ve needed to close out and restart it b/c it becomes unresponsive.

Anyway - I found a link to download the previous versions here:

thank you! next time I will test the new version first!

Interesting. I am finding Mr PineCone is working fine. The only thing I did notice it it changed my smart Sonnet 3.5 to 3.7 without asking. I would rather it didn’t.

Hey Peter,
Out of curiosity, could you tell us why you’d like to keep 3.5? (Considering – to simplify a lot – that the price is the same for a less “advanced” version?)

Hi @Emmanuel,

I have no problems using 3.7. But if a user has a user-definable setting set, an update shouldn’t change that (or at least mentioning it’s done so) IMO.

I do really like how it does this now… The one funny thing, is I am not using Font Awesome in this project at all. It’s all Bootstrap SVG icons. I found previously I had to keep asking for it to use SVG markup for the icons.

Hi @Emmanuel and @PeteSharp

There are two reasons you might stick with Claude 3.5 instead of jumping to 3.7. First, while the base price is the same, 3.7 tends to give more elaborate responses, which consume more tokens (same price, higher token usage—sneaky, right?:money_with_wings:). Second, more information usually means more complex logic in the code it generates. And in my experience, the simplest code is often the most robust and effective. Simplicity wins in the long run :trophy:. Just my 2 cents opinion. BTW: no problem with Mr Pinecone works great :+1:

Hey @PeteSharp, good news! We listened to @Blep’s arguments and they actually make sense. So, just by restarting Pinegrow, you’ll be able to select the 3.5 model again.

Thanks to both of you!

Interesting. I think a tutorial on how to take advantage of AI in pinegrow is warranted. I don’t think I use it to it potentials.

We’re offering a short series of videos that cover using the AI assistant (with WordPress, Tailwind, etc.). What topics do you feel are missing?
