I’m a newcomer to Pinegrow as I’m looking for something to replace Oxygen.
Is it possible to use the WordPress plugin to create blocks, particularly dynamic blocks with an existing theme - for example a child of 2025 or Ollie. Are there any “gotchas” I need to look out for before I dive in?
Obviously, if I didn’t like Pinegrow, I wouldn’t be here! But, I am answering your question as you are/were an Oxygen user. Pinegrow has a deep learning curve. I came across Pinegrow when it first started. I recommend Adam Lowe’s videos, which will give you an idea.
However, if you have come from Oxygen, I would encourage you to look at Bricks Builder. It has a very good ecosystem and the forums and Facebook groups are good. The author, Thomas, is very good and listens to his users. Perhaps you already know about Bricks.
I’m dabbling with the free version and so far I’m loving it.
I’m trying to avoid using more page builders and want to embrace block themes. It looks like Pinegrow will help me to build themes and blocks a lot quicker than doing manual builds. I can see it has a steep learning curve but the tuts that are built in to the WP plugin are super helpful as are Adam’s tutorials.
