@Pinegrow_User , youtube comments from years ago are not promises. I appreciate Matjaz sharing his ideas as a reply instead of not engaging in a convo raising expectations until the ideas go through incubation, feasibility, and further journey to public announcement and officially released.
I personally do have lot of ideas not just for Pinegrow but beyond Pinegrow on numerous other things and engage in active convos online, sharing them, learning from others, and sometimes buy domain names (piling up) with lot of excitement… but this doesn’t mean I’m promising the world something and be held accountable for a fresh idea and my previous work/project get mocked upon comparing it with other products.
I’m an iPhone user and won’t settle for an Android phone, but I completely respect someone’s personal choice if someone is using an Android phone. Same if I’m a dog person and someone is a cat person.
Tools, workflows, frameworks, all these can be very personal choices, and in a world full of locking users with proprietary file formats for web apps, complex abstractions promising to be user-friendly, Pinegrow has been a no lock-in tool from day-one. There is no tool that will satisfy everyone’s needs and there is always going to be deltas which will be very different to each of us. Pinegrow has been a no lock-in tool where you can enhance your productivity visually but still have the freedom to externally do the heavy-lifting.
Especially, some of our offerings like Tailwind, Interactions & Vue integrations/app across platforms including the web (wp/pinegrow online) is unparalleled in my personal opinion. I understand your passion at the start, but I don’t see this thread being productive, is definitely not helping the community nor the Pinegrow team in anyway. In fact, there are discourse communities where links to other tools get censored or banned. But our community forum is very open & supportive, and it deserves to grow and help with productive feedback. Our team are working on numerous features and we are progressing nicely over time, some might get dropped, but community feedback are accommodated and worked on constantly.
We don’t have a public roadmap simply because if an item in the roadmap is dropped or delayed for various reasons, then such items can end-up like this thread.
Let’s keep it friendly, helpful & classy!
