Is there such a thing as sharing components in the PG Community?

I’ve come here from (dare I mention it) Blocs, Elements and Sitely… one of the things these other lesser platforms offer is the concept of a ‘store’ or sharing of ‘Components’ amongst the community to speed up page building or adding cool things (animations, scroll effects, 3D animations etc).

I saw this almost decade old thread: Components & Blocks -- Automation , Available as Library , Sharing

… that I think was alluding to the same thing, but AFAIK didn’t really go anywhere… is there any desire in the PG Devs/Community for the collecting and sharing of components?

Thank you for sharing your experience with those platforms and for raising this question. We appreciate you taking the time to explore what Pinegrow offers.

Pinegrow has its own vision and development path, and we prefer to focus on features that align with our core philosophy rather than implementing everything competitors do. A component store or sharing platform could certainly be useful, but given how easy it is to create your own component libraries from any HTML using our Smart Components feature, we have not found an immediate need for it.

Smart Components let you turn any HTML template into reusable components with full control over their behavior and structure. You can find detailed guidance in our documentation at https://pinegrow.com/docs/pinegrow-pro/components/. This approach gives you the flexibility to build exactly what you need without relying on external repositories.

That does not mean such a feature will never happen, but it is honestly not a priority right now. We continue to evaluate what makes sense for Pinegrow users based on feedback and real world workflows. If you have specific needs or ideas you would like to discuss, feel free to share them here (the Feature Request section of the forum).
