There is only “Background color=false”. But when no “Supports”-Options are added the blocks has no options for Background color.
I need to manually add “color.background” to the “Supports” list. Is this intended behaviour?

@MichelyWeb true, we missed that one.
The background is on by default is color is set. So, will add color=true
option that will enable default color settings. Background color=false
would then be used to turn off the background color support.
A workaround is to manually enter the value, like you did.
I believe as of this moment you could enable “gradients” from the list - option it would trigger background option as well
