It would be nice if saving and closing the project also saved the information about what files were opened in the File Editor, so that reopening the project would automatically load the these files into the editor. The editor window should reopen into the same portion of the fie which was last visible.
Furthermore, it would be nice if it saved the information which portions of each file were collapsed and restored that state as well. The same could be also done for the file browser panel and the tree panel.
Currently, each of my sessions starts thus:
- Open project
- Collapse those portions of the tree that I am done with
- Switch to file browser
- Open the relevant CSS and HTML
- Resize the browser to a desired height.
- In the HTML, collapse portions that I am done with.
- Scroll to the portion that I worked on
- Switch back to the Tree browser.
- Start working.
I would like to be able to do this instead:
- Open project
- Start working.
I was hoping that saving the workspace layout would at least keep the editor tabs, but no such luckā¦
