Won't export after updating old theme because alleged style.css error. Not

After updating an old theme, I get this error at theme export, but it is not true. The name field is in the style sheet indeed.

The following problems and warnings were encountered during the export:

  • Unable to set Theme Name to xyz-theme The field is not present in style.css or in the plugin header. Add the field and re-run the export.

Any idea where this goes wrong? Thanks.
