Besides the convenience of fully supporting the touch bar on the MacBook Pro (especially with all the sub-menus and options pinegrow has) I was thinking that not only would it be great for MacBook Pro users, but also seems like a great way to get your product featured on the App Store category Made For MacBook Pro, which features all apps that fully utilize the touch bar.
The advertising benefits of being featured on the home page of that category seems to make up for the fact that not all users would benefit from touchbar support.
Maybe this will motivate the inclusion of this feature 
By the way, great work on Pinegrow 4, it’s really coming together!
