3.05 still takes a long time to start up, about 17 seconds from when the blank windows open to when the project menus appear, on a 4ghz i7.
Closing then restarting then takes about 5 seconds the next time.
General editing of a quite complex page is ok though…
On an i7 3.4 Ghz 16mb ram Windows 10 machine launched as the first program following starting the machine PG is taking around 36 seconds to start up.
Does seem to be extraordinarily slow compared to . . . everything else
At the moment we’re preloading some heavy stuff on startup, so that actual work with PG is faster. We’ll do some things to speed up the startup time in the future.
