Tailwind is not for production?

I got this message working with a new site and am wondering if tailwind is even compatible with wordpress. Is this postCss a plugin for Wordpress? Seems unnecessarily complicated.

cdn.tailwindcss.com should not be used in production. To use Tailwind CSS in production, install it as a PostCSS plugin or use the Tailwind CLI: Installing Tailwind CSS with Vite - Tailwind CSS

@jefferis activate the Design panel for this project and Pinegrow will compile a proper Tailwind CSS stylesheet.

Hi, I have watched the video. I turned on Design panel and it removed all my colors and CSS … not what I wanted!!!

Hi @jefferis ,

Was your tw css file replaced, or your tw classes present differently, or both?

When you turn on design panel, all default tw colors are used and will show up there. You can change those default values to your custom palette. You can also add additional ones like primary, secondary etc (so that you can use text-primary-500).
