Every time I export the theme, the .git directory is deleted.
Is there a possibility to stop Pinegrow from doing this?
Something like a ignore file would be great.

The folder is cleared on every export, so that any unused old exported files are cleared. For example, without this, renaming single.html to page.html would leave both single.php and page.php in the theme. This leads to very confusing situations.
Exactly, and I understand that. But it would be nice to have an ignore file or at least have an option to leave the .git folder untouched.
