Open files with no extensions as HTML files

I am deploying my website to S3 bucket and would like to have them pushed without .html file extension. However if I remove the extension Pinegrow doesn’t recognize the files as HTML. Is there a way to force pinegrow treat files without extensions as HTML files?

This will be possible in 2.95, out next week.

I was about to write a feature request for this. Has this issue returned or do I need to do something to enable it?
